Many of you know our good cycling friend Ray Purnel and know of his very unfortunate accident about 4 months ago. Ray and his family have been struggling and Ray has had a difficult time with his recovery. Ray has had many up's and down's and recently it became even more serious. The DBC has started the Ray Purnel Fund!
The DBC has setup a fund for Ray Purnel and his family. If you are interested in contributing please send a check made payable to Desert Bicycle Club (PO Box 13382, Palm Desert, CA 92255-3382) or you can give it to a club officer directly. There will also be cards available to sign before the Saturday ride on February 6th if you didn’t get to sign one at the club party. Call Brenda Tracy at (760) 346-3693 for further information.
