As the Tour de Palm Springs approaches us again, I have been ask by a couple of folks if we were going to have a DBC SAG stop at the top of Dillon at the Thousand Palms Canyon turn off.
As I understand in recent years, the DBC SAG Stop has not been really taken advantage of. The purpose of this DBC specific stop was to take and hold on to clothes that Club Members wanted to shed mid way thru the ride and return the clothes after the ride. This was NOT a fully supported stop.
The questions is: Should we or do we need to have a DBC SAG stop again? If so, we need one or two volunteers that are willing be at this point to accept the clothes and get them returned to the individuals. Any willing parties please contact me at: wlightner@dc.rr.com or 760-832-2725.
Thank you,
Bill Lightner
