TUESDAY (HILL CIRCUIT) ROUTE |
- Group meets at Palm Desert Civic Center Park (corner of San Pablo and Fred Waring Dr..
- From the park, go north on San Pablo.
- Right on Magnesia Falls.
- Left on Portola.
- Right on Frank Sinatra Dr.
- Right on Cook Ave. Cross Hwy 111.
- Right on Fairway Dr.
- Left on Portola Ave. When you cross Haystack Dr., you are on the loop course.
- At top of climb, right on Mesa View Dr.
- Right on Alamo Dr. for descent
- Right on Haystack Dr.
- Right on Mesa View Dr. and repeat. Club members do 3 or 4 climbs.
- After last repeat, proceed straight on Mesa View at top of last climb.
- Right on Hwy 74. OPTION: for more climbing, left on Hwy 74 up to Art Smith Trailhead parking lot on right. Turn around and roll down hill past Mesa View
- Left on El Paseo
- Left on Hwy 111. Turn into 1st driveway on right to Bagel Bistro & Starbucks
NOTES: Total distance approx. 20 miles. Some club members may ride more miles after coffee. To return to Palm Desert Civic Park, proceed west on Hwy 111, then right on Fred Waring to San Pablo.
